Trigger Warning - Manchester Arena Bombing From A Survivor

Image
Manchester Arena Bombing From A Survivor  Monday 22nd May 2017. The day my life changed forever. The day I truly feared for my life. The day I thought I was going to die. I thought I would never make it out alive. Ariana Grande finished the song "Dangerous Woman" and the lights came on. Instantly, a massive bang echoed through the arena. I knew something was wrong. My gut feeling knew there was something wrong and that I didn't feel safe staying still where I was and had to leave as soon as possible. I knew it was something serious but of what nature I was unsure. Was it a bomb? Was it a gunshot? Is there multiple people with guns? Is it just one bomb? Only one person or more? Literally everything was running through my head, just unsure what it could be but also not caring what it was as I just wanted to get out of there. The security who stand around the arena said it was a speaker, a board fell...anything but the truth as obviously they didn't know

Review of Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Highlighter Palette

Image
Aurora  I happened to come across the Aurora highlighter palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills at my local TKMaxx and I can say now, I was in total shock! I was so surprised that no one had already grabbed it before I had. I saw a few posts from a make up Facebook group regarding the palette being available there so thought I would go and have a look, not expecting anything...look down at the make up selection and there it was! £19.99 instead of £41! What a bargain! So I thought I would do a quick review of the palette. My first impressions - Packaging is absolutely stunning! The packaging is a lovely blue to purple transition and it also reflects with the light, which I love!!! Opening up - I removed the initial packaging around the palette and opened up to these amazing set of colours. They are so unique. You have the normal, what you expect to see as a highlighter shade then you have these beautiful bright colours. These really made this palette something so unique that I h

Introduction

Image
Welcome to my blog. I really don't know what I am doing with this whole blog thing. Just thought it would be a good idea to get the ideas and problems from my head down and potentially help someone who needs it. Well that's the idea anyway. Let me introduce myself, my name is Caitlin and I am a 19 year old with some issues and wanting to find some form of outlet. I was just like a normal teenage girl until I was 13. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis which completely shook my boat more than I ever could imagine. My life became a rocky adventure since that point. My views on life changed, my views on myself changed and also my views on hospitals changed. I was in this false sense of security from the hospital that I was okay...that was a lie. My health continued to decline as the years went on, mentally and physically. No one expects something like Endometriosis to have a massive toll on your mental health, but it does. I started to hate myself, I started to bla
